FIL- Federation of International Lacrosse

This is the official website for the Federation of International Lacrosse™, abbreviated FIL™, which was established in August 2008 in a merger of both the men's and women's international lacrosse associations. The new organization will be responsible for the Men's World Lacrosse Championship, World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, Women's Lacrosse World Cup, and both Men's and Women's Under-19 World Lacrosse Championships. These events are held every four years. Stay up to date on all international lacrosse events and results, participating member nations and lacrosse development activities around the world.

		The Federation of International Lacrosse™ (FIL™) provides users with this Google Translation Gadget which will make the site instantly available in a number of foreign languages.

Please be aware that this Gadget will not translate everything in the site, nor will it provide perfect translations of all text. Using the Gadget will most likely cause unexpected problems in page layouts. Mozilla's latest Firefox browser (Firefox v3.5.2) produces the fewest number of layout issues as of this update (September, 2009). FIL™ MEMBER NATION NOTICE: The Federation of International Lacrosse™ is currently requesting that each member nation provide a dedicated, volunteer translator and/or administrator to initially translate the FIL™ site into their country's native language and manage updates on an on-going basis. Hosting and administrative access will be provided by FIL™ at no charge.
